Mohammed Vaqar

Mohammed is a Health and Wellbeing Officer in the West Midlands Health and Wellbeing Team in Public Health England. Before joining Public Health England, he was a project officer for the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse.
Mohammed began his career working in a drug treatment agency before moving into a regional role with the National Treatment Agency. Mohammed is passionate about reducing health inequalities in disadvantaged groups and the role faith can play in encouraging positive behavioural change in relation to health.
In his spare time Mohammed is the chair of his local GP patient participation group, working to support improvements in primary care.
