Lisa is currently an epidemiological scientist responsible for leading national surveillance of STEC and listeria infections at PHE, including detecting and investigating outbreaks of these diseases. Prior to this, Lisa worked for PHE for several years on infectious disease surveillance schemes including for transfusion-transmitted infections; vaccine preventable diseases, and most extensively, gastrointestinal infections. Lisa has an MSc in Public Health and a PhD in epidemiology.
