Katherine Henson

Katherine Henson is a senior analyst in Public Health England’s National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service. She leads on the delivery of local cancer intelligence to NHS stakeholders in London, and also on the newly acquired primary care prescriptions dataset.

Prior to joining PHE, Katherine worked as a healthcare analyst for BUPA and has completed a PhD at the Clinical Trial Service Unit in the University of Oxford. Her research focused on the long-term risks of heart disease and lung cancer after radiotherapy treatment for cancer, specifically breast and teenage and young adult cancer.
