Jo Whaley

Jo is the Network Director of Regional Voices which champions the work of voluntary and community organisations to improve health, wellbeing and care across England. Regional Voices is a partnership of nine regional networks. Together, we connect to over 25,000 voluntary and community organisations across England. We are a Health and Care Voluntary Sector Strategic Partner to Public Health England, NHS England and the Department of Health. Jo started working for Regional Voices in 2009, managing the North East region's Third Sector Health and Social Care Forum, based at VONNE where she also coordinated NETS (work), the North East Third Sector learning disability provider network. She took on her current national role in 2010. Jo is the Chair of Riverside Community Health Project , which supports families in the West End of Newcastle and is a Governor for the North East Ambulance Service. Before working at VONNE she lived and worked in Cambodia as a Management Adviser with Voluntary Services Overseas. @regionalvoice
